Dr. Imtiaz graduated from the prestigious Dow University of Health Sciences (formerly, Dow Medical College) Karachi, Pakistan in the year 1998.

He then moved to the US for post-graduate training and became board certified and later on a fellow in Neurophysiology (Intra-operative) in the USA. He has been one of the youngest to be awarded fellow nomination amongst the only 53 fellows so-far. He has rich training and work experience from various top notch US university hospitals including Yale University Hospitals CT and Albert Einstein University Hospitals NYC, USA.

For the last 8 years, he has been a consultant physician in (KFMC), the largest tertiary care facility in KSA. He’s also credited for conducting the first and second dedicated Intra-Operative Neurophysiology conferences and hands-on workshops in Asia. He has also written the first dedicated (IOM) fellowship program at the post-graduate level in the region. He’s also credited for establishing (KFMC) as the only accredited hospital in his specialty outside of the USA.

Dr. Imtiaz is a frequent guest faculty in various neurophysiology, neurosurgery, spine surgery and anesthesiology meetings besides being a member of various societies with approximately 100 talks and lectures around the globe.
